Why do you take her as a misfortune?
Why do you not send her to school?
Why do you not let her study?
Why do you marry her at the age of eight?
Why do you assault her so dreadfully?
Can she study if she is male?
Can she live if she is a boy?
Can she be married at the proper age if she is not a girl?
Let her live, let her fly,
Let her make her dreams come true,
Let her see daylight; let her aspire.
Respect her; that is the least she deserves.
